Hello Stonelake,
Your music shows a rare combination between heavy modern metal riffs and soft power metal vocals. How did you come up with the idea to try such a combination?

Stonelake:
It is something we never think about when we create… It’s just in our system when we are in the process making new material. We always means that a good song is a song you remember.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
In your videoclip to Red Canyon a big silver cross is shown. How important is religion to you?

Stonelake:
We are not religious in that way, but we belive that there is a higher power out there to guide us in our path of life.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
The cover of your new album Marching on Timeless Tales creates a mystic atmosphere. How did you come up with the idea for the artwork?

Stonelake:
We work with Andre Beckston and it’s his and Peter’s work you can see on the cover. Andre is a very good friend of ours who always doing the best of work.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
This is already your fifth studio effort, and you´re staying true to your musical style, much to the delight of your fans. Will you keep going in this style or will the next records show some experimenting in other directions?

Stonelake:
We keep doing what feels right at the moment and what we love to do. The most important thing for us are always to do better songs. Also are we aware of that we have a slightly different style than most of many other metalband in the genre, but this is what we are.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
Are you planning a more extensive tour? Can your fans look forward to see their favourite band live on stage?

Stonelake:
No tour planned yet, but we hope in near future to go on stage. It would be great meeting our fans and deliver great shows somewhere soon.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
If you could chose a band to perform with, which one would it be?

Stonelake:
Iron Maiden or Jorn.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
Here is a question I ask every band: What is your favourite beverage?

Stonelake:
We think that the answer you’re looking for is BEER!! Right?!

Time For Metal / Reaper:
Social communities like Facebook, MySpace, etc. are an important factor in everyday life. What role does the internet play for you in terms of getting your music out to the fans?

Stonelake:
Nowadays it’s a lifeline for all artists to have internet, otherwise you’re no one if your fans can’t see or hear you.
So it’s very valuable for all bands when you want to spread the message and your music.

Time For Metal / Reaper:
To round things up, is there anything you want to tell our readers?

Stonelake:
We want to thank all our fans for loving our music and we hope soon to meet you all on the road!!

Time For Metal / Reaper:
Thank you for your time, good luck and all the best to you!
