Die Progressive-Rock Super-Group TRANSATLANTIC, bestehend aus Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, Roine Stolt und Pete Trewavas, haben gerade die Veröffentlichung von ‘KaLIVEoscope’ am 24. Oktober 2014 bekanntgegeben. Dabei handelt es sich um Filmaufnahmen von einem Liveset aus Köln, sowie Audio CDs, welche in Tilburg mitgeschnitten wurden. Um euch einen kleinen Vorgeschmack auf ‘KaLIVEoscope’ zu geben, hat die Band den Liveclip zu ‘Black As The Sky’ vorab veröffentlicht. Den Clip gibt es hier:

Ein weiterer Grund zum Feiern war die Tatsache, dass die Band als Preisträger bei den diesjährigen Progressive Music Awards in der Kategorie ‘Album Of The Year’ hervorgingen.
Neal Morse äußerte sich mit folgenden Worten: „The Kaleidoscope tour was indeed a landmark for Transatlantic. It was our first time in many parts of the world, and it was indeed epic! We grew as a band and as people and if you got to be there at one of the shows, you know how incredible it was! This live DVD, BluRay and all the rest, captures Transatlantic in an amazing way and I’m sure you’re going to love it!“
Transatlantic haben Anfang des Jahres ihr neustes Album ‘Kaleidoscope’ veröffentlicht. Danach gingen sie auf Welttournee und haben dabei Europa, Süd Amerika und die USA bereist. Sogar eine Kreuzfahrt um die Bahamas stand auf dem Programm. ‘KaLIVEoscope’ wird in verschiedenen Formaten erscheinen: als Deluxe 2DVD, 3CD & Blu-Ray Box-Set (siehe Cover oben) als 3CD/DVD Digipak Version und als BluRay.
