Catherine Jackson-Smith von Radar kommentiert: „Radar ‘27 is already shaping up to be an unforgettable year. We couldn’t let Mick Gordon play on his own, and since day one of Radar we’ve lamented not being able to book Arcane Roots – so as soon as they came back from hiatus, we knew that was a match made in heaven. Welcoming back old friends such as Unprocessed and Volumes, plus hosting returns from The Algorithm (live) and Textures, and introducing the Radar community to some new bands we’ve discovered is exactly what we do best – and housing it at our new home is Magna is the perfect start to our next chapter.
We’re adding a new space: a Radar pub! We don’t have time to run it ourselves – so we’ve outsourced that to a landlord collective calling themselves Pintglass. The pub will be a separate unit, called The Geezer’s Arms, and we’ve been assured that they know what they’re doing. Bring on 2027; see you in Sheffield.“
