Die Band kommentiert: „Shadows In The Night has been in the making for quite some time, if you take into account the songwriting process as well as the recording process. I think I speak for us all when I say that we believe we’ve raised the bar in comparison to our debut EP, Deeper Shades Of Torment. When it comes to lyrical context, this song is based around aliens impersonating humans/doppelgängers. We wanted this to portray a very 80’s thriller film vibe and there are other hints to this theme throughout the album like on the instrumental track Dreamland.“
„The influences on the album as a whole range all the way from Anthrax, Dio, Testament, Judas Priest and W.A.S.P., to Alter Bridge, Ghost, Enforcer and even smaller, underground bands such as The Wran or High Fade.“
