Die Progressive Metal Überflieger Kadinja aus Frankreich veröffentlichen heute das Musikvideo zur brandneuen Single ‚The Modern Rage‘ ihres mit Spannung erwarteten zweiten Albums »Super 90’«, welches am 18. Januar 2019 via Arising Empire erscheinen wird.

„‚The Modern Rage‘ is a kind of patchwork of all what we love and tried to gather on this album. It’s a very characteristic song of the album Super 90′. This song mixes technics, neo-metal/rock parts, clean and nervous vocals, etc. with a real balance between old school elements and modern metal stuff.“ – Kadinja
„For this videoclip, we wanted to make something more ironic and funny and tried to imagine what a classroom of studients suffering from ‚Modern Rage‘ would look like. To do so, we gathered a bunch of friends in a school in Paris with only one directive: bring all what you find annoying and which unfortunately represents our generation, our era. Combined with a few old school elements (nineties here again !), this is a good symbol for this song, mainly based on a confrontation between two ways of thinking.“ explains the band.

Nur ein Jahr nach der Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums, nämlich im Frühling 2018, war es dann wieder so weit und Kadinja gingen ins Studio um ihr zweites Album aufzunehmen und somit der Welt ihre neusten musikalischen Entdeckungen zu präsentieren.
Nach einer langen und leidenschaftlichen Entwicklungsphase folgt nun ihr zweites Album – Super 90′.
“It’s called Super 90′ and for us it’s our way to celebrate an era we miss a lot – the 90’s. We miss the way how songs were done back then, we miss the sound and basically all the things we had when we were younger – especially music, movies and video games.” – erklärt die Band.
Rockiger, origineller und noch näher an ihren technischen Wurzeln werden diese jungen Männer euch bald auf eine musikalische Reise einladen, bei denen sie bis an die Grenzen des modernen Rock und Metal gehen werden.
“We tried to make the record sound more rock, more organic and emotional than Ascendency to bring back a part of the 90’s vibes we were missing” – erklärt Kadinja.
Das Album umfasst elf starke Songs, produziert von Chris Edrich (Leprous, The Ocean, Myrath) and Pierre Danel, gemixt von Chris Edrich und komplett gemastered von Pierrick Noel (Klone, The Moon Drivers).
Zusätzlich gibt es einige Interessante Features auf dem neuen Album zu finden. Sylvain von The Dali Thundering Concept auf Muted Rain. Raphael Weinroth-Browne (The Visit, Musk Ox, Kamancelloon) auf dem Track Véronique and Tola in Avec Tout Mon Amour.
Das Cover Artwork für Super 90′ stammt von Leo Natale und spricht für sich selbst.
“This album is clearly a mix of what we loved back in the days and what we have now.” – erzählt Philippe Charny.
Durch die Aufnahme in die Arising Empire-Familie im September 2018 werden Kadinja mit ihrem neuen Album, das Anfang 2019 erscheinen soll, eine noch größeres Publikum erreichen als ohnehin schon.
