Gros Enfant Mort sagen zu ihrem neuen Song: „This song explores the quiet, insidious way depression can take hold, often without us realizing it, until it slowly builds a sense of alienation that disconnects us from others and from ourselves. It questions the societal pressure to be resilient: to stay strong, to bounce back, to turn every fall into a lesson, even when standing back up feels impossible. It confronts the futility of symbolic band-aids placed over deep wounds, and the violence of having to pretend everything is fine while silently falling apart inside.“
