Nach den schrecklichen Anschlägen am 13.11.2015 in Paris haben die EAGLES OF DEATH METAL dazu aufgerufen, ihren Song “I Love You All The Time” zu covern und auf einer Aktionsseite zum Download bzw. Stream bereitzustellen. Alle Erlöse kommen den Opfern der Anschläge und deren Familie zugute.
Auch HALESTORM sind dem Aufruf gerne gefolgt und haben ein Live-Cover von “I Love You All The Time” veröffentlicht. Dieses steht ab sofort zum ► Download oder Stream ◄ bereit.
In einem Statement macht die Band um Frontfrau Lizzy Hale die Bedeutung der Aktion klar:
“The senseless, violent attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015 hit very close to home for us. So,when Josh Homme and Eagles Of Death Metal challenged bands to “Play It Forward”, we immediately snapped to attention.
Eagles of Death Metal challenged bands to cover their song “I Love You All The Time”, pledging that 100% of the publishing and proceeds will be donated to The Sweet Stuff Foundation for the family’s and victims of the terrorist attacks. We are proud to be a part of the healing. From Halestorm to all our friends in Paris and everyone affected by that night, we really do ‘love you all the time!’
