AVANTASIAs außergewöhnliche siebte Platte »Ghostlights« wird am 29. Januar 2016 weltweit via Nuclear Blast veröffentlicht. Heute präsentiert Tobias Sammet voller Stolz das Cover und gibt die Tracklists sowie die verschiedenen Formate, in denen das kommende Album erhältlich sein wird, bekannt.
Auf dem Werk treten Dee Snider, Geoff Tate, Marco Hietala, Sharon Den Adel, Michael Kiske, Ronnie Atkins, Bob Catley, Jorn Lande, Bruce Kulick, Robert Mason, Herbie Langhans, Oliver Hartmann und Sascha Paeth mit Gastbeiträgen in Erscheinung.
Die zwölf Songs umfassende Platte wurde von Tobias und Sascha Paeth im Gatestudio Wolfsburg produziert. Paeth ist zudem für die Technik und den Mix von »Ghostlights« verantwortlich. Das Mastering übernahm Michael Rodenberg.
