Zur Feier der Blu Ray und DVD Veröffentlichung des Horror-Thrillers The Retaliators am 6. Oktober in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz haben Better Noise Music heute eine neue Akustikversion des Filmsongs The Retaliators Theme Song (21 Bullets) veröffentlicht, der von Nikki Sixx geschrieben wurde und bei dem Mötley Crüe, Asking Alexandria, Ice Nine Kills und From Ashes To New mitwirken. Zur neuen Akustikversion erscheint heute ein neues Lyricvideo mit Szenen aus dem Film.
Die Originalversion von The Retaliators Theme Song (21 Bullets) war auf dem The Retaliators Original Motion Picture Soundtrack enthalten, der im September 2022 über Better Noise Music veröffentlicht wurde. Hierzulande schaffte er es 2022 in die Top #20 der Deutschen Rock Radio Charts. Der Horror-Thriller The Retaliators enthält Gastauftritte von Künstlern wie Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Ivan Moody (Five Finger Death Punch), Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills) und Amanda Lyberg (Eva Under Fire) sowie Mitgliedern von The Hu und From Ashes To New. “Writing a new theme song for a horror flick was inspiring”, sagt Nikki Sixx. “This was my first time writing for a horror-thriller film, and it took me in a different direction from the first theme song I wrote – The Dirt (1981) by Mötley Crüe.
