In genau zwei Wochen erscheint das neue The Darkness Album ‚Last Of Our Kind‘ und um die Wartezeit etwas zu verkürzen, hauen die Herren heute einen neuen Song vom Album raus. Sänger Justin Hawkins über ‚Hammer and Tongs‘: “Raw like sashimi, served with all the accoutrements you’d expect from The Darkness. Powerful, emotional lyrics sung from the heart (because it sounds better that way), a massive chorus, stripped naked and weeping, and some really brilliant guitar playing.” Und weiter: “It’s about prolonged, involved love-making in the sultry air of a hot summer night that yields to a hot summer morning.
