Wes Hauch, vorher bei THE FACELESS, wird in seine Fußstapfen treten. „It’s a really rare and awesome thing if you’re able to find a group of dudes that you can genuinely get along with,“ says Hauch.“It’s even more rare if your musical tastes and goals are congruent. I can definitely say that’s the case right now in Black Crown Initiate and I’m very grateful. Things are great and I’m looking forward to the the future.“

Die US-Metaller von BLACK CROWN INITIATE aus Pennsylvania präsentieren mit „For Red Cloud“ den ersten neuen Track seit ihrem 2014er Studioalbum „The Wreckage of Stars“.
Für Gitarrist Andy Thomas ist der Song „a statement of the psychological enslavement of the modern world, and a tribute to those who resisted being enslaved. We will never become the storm of change that our world needs. Our children will never know what true freedom feels like, and we surely don’t, either.“
Black Crown Initiate haben sich einen Weg in das kollektive Bewusstsein der Heavy Metal Community gebahnt – mit stetiger Beharrlichkeit und durch die Teilnahme an berüchtigten Touren wie der Summer Slaughter und der Metal Alliance sowie als Begleitband von Acts wie Behemoth, Napalm Death, Deicide, Voivod, Crowbar, Unearth, Darkest Hour, Goatwhore und Rivers Of Nihil.
Wie auch bereits das vorherige Material der Band wurde das neue Album von Black Crown Initiates langjährigem Partner Carson Slovak (August Burns Red, Texas In July, From Ashes to New) in desssen Atrium Audio Studios in Pennsylvania produziert. Für das Artwork zeichnet sich Travis Smith (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Avenged Sevenfold) verantwortlich.
