WILSON heißt das neueste Zugpferd des amerikanischen Plattenlabels Razor & Tie.
Nachdem die fünf Herren aus Detroit im März im Vorprogramm von Halestorm das deutsche Publikum begeisterten, liefern Wilson nun ihr zweites Album „Right To Rise“ ab, das am 03. Die Band tauchte erstmals 2013 mit ihrem selbstbetitelten Debüt Album auf dem Radar der lokalen Rockszene auf. Mit eisernem Durchhaltevermögen und unermüdlichem Touren durch die kleinen Clubs ihrer Heimat und schließlich als Support von Rockgiganten wie Black Label Society, Down, Five Finger Death Punch und Motörhead, erspielten sich WILSON mit ihrer punkigen Attitüde und einer gehörigen Portion Coolness eine solide Fanbase.

Für die Produktion von „Right To Rise“ brachte die Band frischen Wind in die kreative Herangehensweise und integrierte diesmal alle Bandmitglieder in den Entstehungsprozess, während zuvor allein Sänger Chad und Gitarrist Jason für das Songwriting zuständig waren.
Die Heimatstadt der Band ist hörbare Inspirationsquelle gewesen.„Detroit is a city commonly portrayed as the underdog to most of the world. We were discarded by many when the shit hit the fan, but through hard work, passion, and determination we strive to rise again. „Right To Rise“, though written to mirror our beautiful city is a song that we feel encompasses rock’n’roll in the current climate of the industry.
