Currents aus Connecticut haben angekündigt, am 14. Dezember über SharpTone Records ihre neue EP »I Let The Devil In« zu veröffentlichen. Die EP wurde von Ryan Leitru von For Today produziert und stellt den Nachfolger zum viel beachteten 2017er Album »The Place I Feel Safest« dar.
Zusätzlich haben CURRENTS als Vorgeschmack auf die EP die brandneue Single ‚Into Despair‘ veröffentlicht.

We’ve all experienced the shame of being back in a place we thought we left a long time ago, and we wanted to really capture that feeling and put it into a song. This is the first time I’ve ever felt like I said exactly what I needed to say, and so I’m proud to present ‚Into Despair‚ to all of you.” – Brian Wille
Der Track ist einer von fünf neuen Songs, die über mehrere Jahre entstanden sind und nun endlich das Licht der Welt erblicken und die Intensität und die ihre Fähigkeit zeigt, unglaubliche und dynamische Musik zu schaffen, die sowohl anspruchsvoll als auch zugänglich ist.

Each song has been reworked and revisited multiple times before finally coming to Ryan Leitru to piece them all together in their final state.
