Das Album ist der Nachfolger zum 2012 Album „Collide with the Sky“ mit dem die Band den Durchbruch in die Billboard Top 200 Charts schaffte und auf #12 einstieg sowie den #1 Spot in den Rock , Hard Rock und Modern Rock/Alternative Album Charts halten konnte und 350.000 Einheiten verkaufte. Für den Track „King For A Day“ gab es damals sogar Gold.

Die erste Single aus dem Album wird „Texas is Forever“ sein und diesen Freitag veröffentlicht werden. Für das Album hat die Band um Vic Fuentes (Gitarre/Gesang), Tony Perry (Gitarre) Jaime Preciado (Bass) und Mike Fuentes (Drums) wieder einmal mit Dan Korneff zusammen gearbeitet und das Album in seinem Sonic Debris Studio in Long Island aufgenommen: “It was exciting to do another record with Dan,” sagte Vic. “We had gotten to know him really well on ‘Colllide,’ so there wasn’t that initial period where you’re trying to get to know each other. We just dove in and started to make music right away.”
Vics suche nach Inspiration hat ihn auch an viele Plätze verschlagen an denen er Texte geschrieben hat – New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, die südkalifornischen Bergresorts von Big Bear, Santa Barbara und Seattle. “I wanted every song to have real meaning, and thought that in spending time in different places, I’d find new inspirations – that’s exactly what happened.”
