„Der Song beschreibt die Gefühle und den abscheulichen Anblick, den ein osmanischer Soldat ertragen musste, als er die Opfer im Wald der Gepfählten – der auf Befehl von Vlad III. errichtet wurde – erblickte, als die Osmanen in den 1460ern in Transsilvanien einmarschierten.“
Der Song stammt vom kommenden Album Evil Rising, gemischt und gemastert von Guillermo „Will“ Maya, das diesen Freitag erscheint. Das Artwork stammt von Ipoet Poetra (Five Miligrams Artworks). Die Texte auf dem Album drehen sich um das Okkulte, Prophezeiungen, den Tod sowie wahre historische Ereignisse. Hier kann man Evil Rising vorbestellen.
