Mit Stolz verkünden THE BLACK MOODS den Release ihres ersten Studioalbums ‘Medicine’, das am 14. Oktober via Another Century veröffentlicht wird. Die aus Phoenix, Arizona stammende Band hat sich über die letzten Jahre kontinuierlich einen Ruf in der lokalen Musikszene Arizonas aufgebaut, in dem sie dem old school Rock n Roll neues Leben und emotionale Energie eingehaucht hat. Sänger Josh Kennedy zog als Teenager über Wheaton, Missouri in den Südwesten der USA, wo er Jahre später, nachdem er bereits in einigen Bands performte, auf Chico Diaz (Schlagzeug) und Johannes Lar (Bass) stieß und schließlich The Black Moods gründete.
Über das Debüt seiner Band weiß Kennedy folgendes zu sagen: „It’s impossible to put into words how amazing it feels to finally be releasing ‚Medicine‘ to the world. These songs have become our kids, we’ve watched them grow and evolve – now it’s time to take ‚em on the road and hope you enjoy them as much as we do.“

Im Rahmen der Veröffentlichung ihres Albums werden The Black Moods im Sommer zusammen mit Citizen Zero und The Wans eine ein-monatige US Tour absolvieren. Chico Diaz freut sich darauf: „We couldn’t be more excited about hitting the road with our new friends in Citizen Zero and The Wans – this will be our first time playing in a lot of these markets and we can’t wait to make new friends, sleep in creepy rest areas, and take baths in truck stop bathrooms. Don’t be shy, come say hi so we aren’t rocking out alone!“
